This cute couple got engaged in one of the most magical places I’ve ever visited. Congrats to the love birds. Thanks for letting me paint your special moment.

In addition to the Nazca Condor, I hand painted Peruvian inspired designs on my board. Of course I put a llama. I also included Tumi, the Incan Sun God. He’s pretty badass. This surf board was shaped by Peruvian surfer and shaper, Yenth CCora in Huanchaco, Peru.

I’ve watched so many beautiful sunsets from this place. Sunset surf sessions were usually colorful.

I adopted a street puppy when I was living in Ecuador. I brought her back to Peru with me.  I’ll save that story for a different day. She was born by the beach and she loves playing on the beach and in the water. (She loves her soccer ball too–true South American!) Here she is taking a break from play on the beach near our little casita.
