Sketch of cute adobe relief sculpture in the ruins of Chan Chan. About 600 years ago, Chan Chan was the biggest city in the Americas. Chan Chan means “Sun Sun” in the Chimú language. The Chimú empire was conquered and incorporated into the Incan empire around 1470. Later it would be pillaged for its treasures by Spanish conquistadors, led by Pizarro. If you’re around the city #trujillo or #huanchaco , this historical site is a must see. 。 。 。 。 。 。 #perú #peru #chanchan #ruins#ruinas #moche #chimu #inca #travelperu #cometoperu #southamerica #travel#travelart
💦 Today was a typhoon day. Very wet and very windy. But I got to stay home all day with my man and work from home. Not too shabby. Happy to report we have no damage. My neighbor popped over with grapes from her vines because the storm was wreaking havoc on them. . . . . . #blues #water #watercolor #acuarela #aquarelle #paint #art #arte #kunst #アート #あお #水 #instaart #instaartist #instaartwork
